It's A BOY!!!

It's a BOY!!

I can't believe I just typed that word!!

A boy, Oh boy, a boy!!
Meet Park Harold Currie, born February 3rd 2012 at 4:59am, weighing eight pounds and twenty inches long.

This little boy is welcomed with love into this all girl family. He is a perfect gift from our Heavenly Father. I can't wait to see his personality and all the joy he will bring to this family. I think it's safe to say that he completes the Currie family!! Before he was born Mommy said four was it, boy or girl, four is a good number for this family.

Park's birth story:
I was scheduled to be induced February 3rd at 6am, which was crazy to me that I had to be induced with my fourth child!!! Given my history with the girls we all thought I would have him early. So anyways, I am scheduled to be induced and the night before I was getting ready for bed and my water starts leaking. Drip, drip, drip. Just like it did with Camdyn and Rylan. About 20 minutes later, around 11:30 pm I started having contractions every 10 minutes. When we arrived at the hospital I was having contractions every 6 minutes and at 1 am I was 5 cm dilated. Around 2:30 am I got my epidural (yippee!!), at 3:50 am I was 8 cm dilated. At 4:30 am I was feeling the pressure so my nurse set up for delivery and called the OB. I pushed for 6 minutes and Brent helped deliver him and pulled him out! It was an exciting moment to finally find out if this baby was a boy or girl!! He is perfect in every way!!

The sad part is that our camera was not working!! It was working the night before and when Brent tried to turn it on during delivery the camera kept saying the card was not accessible!! People say that the more kids you have the less pictures you take of them....well than we are starting this fourth child off on the right foot!!

The girls love him, Brynn and Camdyn fight over who gets to hold him and Rylan goes on about her business as usual. He is 10 days old, weighs eight pounds three ounces and is a little sweet heart!! He is such a good baby, a great eater and wonderful sleeper. I think we'll keep him!!
