Samuel's Coat

So I was reading Brynn a bible story last night about Samuel. At the end of the story his mom put a special coat on Samuel and they went to church. After I finished reading the story Brynn jumped off my lap, said "coat" and ran to her closet and got one of her coats on! Of course we didn't go to church because it was almost bedtime, but she did want to walk up and down the driveway in the 90 degree weather with her special coat!! Kids are so precious!

The Big TWO!!

I can't believe that my baby girl is TWO!! It has gone by so fast. She is at such a fun stage (most days), it is bittersweet. We celebrated her 2nd birthday with the immediate family. We had a BBQ and cake and ice cream. Thanks to Aunt Kyle who made her a mickey cake, she just loves "dickey"!!

We went for Brynn's two year checkup, she weighs 29 pounds and is 34.5 inches tall (75 percentile in both height and weight). Dr. Logan says she speaks well for her age and is overall very healthy.

Camdyn is two months old and weighs in at a whopping 13 lbs 4 oz, and is 23 inches long (75 percentile in height and 95 in weight)!! It is hard to believe she started off a 6 pound baby, that's my little chunky monkey!! Dr. Logan says she obviously doesn't miss a meal and is also healthy.

Surprise, Surprise and a Graduation

He did it!! It's official, Brent is officially a San Antonio Fire Fighter! After six long months of studying and working hard at the fire academy he graduated on July 7th. I am so proud of him! He has already started his first shift at work. I know he is so excited to start this new chapter in his life. I can't wait to hear all the stories he has for me in the years to come. Here are pictures from graduation:

We had a surprise party to celebrate his graduation. Of course it had to be a surprise otherwise Brent would have said "no way, no party"! He almost didn't even go to his own party.....I told him we were going to meet our family at Mama Margies to eat. He said "No I don't want to go, you go without me". After several minutes he reluctantly agreed to go. He honestly didn't have a clue and was very surprised when we showed up! Thanks to all of you who helped us celebrate! Here are some pictures from the party:

Canadian Family

We have been blessed to have our Canadian family come and visit us and help us celebrate all the new and exciting things going on in our lives. They met Camdyn for the first time, helped us celebrate Brent's grad, and Brynn's birthday! Brynn turned Grandpa's name into Bumpa and we had fun 'naming' everyone else!

Two new additions

My best friend from high school, Sara, and I were pregnant at the same time. She was pregnant with a girl and due two weeks after me. Maybe Camdyn and Madeleine will follow in our footsteps and be best friends and play basketball together. We got to meet little Maddie for the first time when we were in Austin. Here are some pictures of the girls together:

And Kirby, my younger sister, had her baby girl, McKlayne, on July 3rd! I can't wait to meet my beautiful niece!
