First Steps

Camdyn finally took some steps on her own today!! She has been cruising forever and can walk around anywhere as long as she has something to hold onto........whether it's my hand or a kitchen chair that she pushes around like a walker. She has taken a few steps on her own here and there but today she finally did it!! We'll see if she reverts back to her old ways of crawling and cruising..............stay tuned.

Mother's Day

Being a mother is priceless.

There really are no words to describe the love and joy that my girls bring to me on a daily basis. Sure I get annoyed or frustrated at times (a particular slide incident comes to mind!), but they make our life complete.

I feel blessed to be a Mommy to two sweet, beautiful girls.

Being a Mommy is a daunting task, a never ending job, but the rewards are amazing and life changing.

Our little girl just turned ONE!

On May 8th Camdyn turned one! I can't believe how fast this first year has gone by. She is such a happy baby and brings so much joy, love, and laughter to our life. I thank God for blessing us with such a perfect fit for our family. I love to watch Brynn and Camdyn interact with each other and I hope that they grow up to be best friends.

We celebrated Cam's birthday with a party on May 9th at the park. Thank you to all the wonderful family and friends that came to help us celebrate! The kids had fun on the playground, while the adults tried to keep cool in the shade.

Then here are the two cheese balls......they are so cute and get along so well. Brynn is a total mother hen, always telling Asher what to do or what a good boy he is!

Well much to my surprise Camdyn didn't want her cake at all!! She eats everything we ever give her and I couldn't believe she wouldn't even try her cake!! She just kept shaking her head no when I asked her if she wanted to try it. We tried again at home after the party and she still wouldn't taste it! She certainly doesn't have her Mommy's sweet tooth, must have gotten that from Daddy!!

A Bunny, a Duck, & a Cowgirl

Okay so I am a couple days late for this post.....

April 20th was Brent's Birthday, he turned 31!

He is my best friend. He is the best partner I could ever ask for. He is a good provider. He is a thoughtful husband. He is a hands-on Father. He adores his girls.

Camdyn: 11 months

I am dedicating a whole post to Camdyn and Camdyn only....since you know 2nd children get the shaft.....uhm speaking from experience!!
I look at how many pictures we took of Brynn compared to how many we take of Camdyn......and I am sure it will only get worse down the line.

I am trying to decide what to do for her 1st birthday invites and I have been taking many many pictures of her. They were too cute so I had to share.
This girls is happy, but she is a handful!! If she doesn't want to do something she throws a fit, arching her back, screaming.....but I can't deny that she is as cute as a button. And she has the most adorable giggle.

She definitely has some attitude or should I say temper? Maybe it's that 2nd child personality shining through!

28th Birthday

It was my 28th Birthday on Saturday the 11th and we celebrated it with tons of Easter activities for the girls. For those of you with kids you know that your kids always come first, even if it's your birthday.....but really I wouldn't have it any other way! My girls bring me so much joy I couldn't imagine life without them.

We started the day off on a good note going to my favorite place, Mama Margies, for breakfast before Brent had to go into work. Then the girls and I headed out to Boerne to go to an Easter Festival at my Aunt Becky's church. It was awesome!! They had tons of crafts, games, a petting zoo, pony rides, and of course an easter egg hunt.
